In this course, students will further develop their written component of a one-year intensive beginners program (CHIN1013 in S1 and CHIN2023 in S2) in Modern Standard Chinese (Putonghua or Mandarin). The objective of this course is to lay a solid written foundation for further studies of the Chinese language and to provide students with deeper knowledge of Chinese culture.
